Tritiated gabapentin (Neurontin). Gabapentin is a medication used to treat epilepsy, and has been shown to cross membrane lipid barriers via system L-amino acid transporters and bind to voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. Detail Information

Gabapentin has been shown to bind voltage-dependent calcium channels in the central nervous system, and has been shown to attenuate pain in neuropathy. It is also used in the treatment of epilepsy.
