IR Ready for Any Challenge
Specifically designed for highest ordinate accuracy in the mid-IR region, Frontier Optica is a unique FT-IR spectrometer designed for optical filter, glass and semiconductor measurements which require improved levels of ordinate accuracy and reproducibility. Over the 5000-400 cm-1 range, the Frontier Optica offers radically improved passband accuracy and stopband transmission accuracy to 6000 cm-1.

An External Beam Pack can be configured to allow for automatic beam path switching for use with external accessories such as the Spotlight™ microscope, NIRA accessory, and the General Purpose Optical Bench.

Superior Performance & Accuracy
The Frontier Optica is designed for optical measurements in demanding applications requiring the highest levels of ordinate accuracy. The Optica is the first FT-IR spectrometer designed specifically to meet the demands of the optical filters, high refractive index materials, and specialty glass coatings industries. The ordinate accuracy on the Frontier Optica is better than ± 0.25%T at 47%T, and better than 0.01%T at 0%T.
The Frontier Optica is primarily suited to function with a variety of sampling accessories to increase the versatility of the instrument, including the HATR, NIRA, UATR, Polarization Kit, and Specular Reflectance Accessory.
The Spectrum 10 software suite drives the Frontier Optica system and can support advanced FT-IR analysis in research and industrial laboratories, always providing optimal results. The software supplied with your instrument enables you to control the instrument and to manipulate the spectra that you collect. The spectrometers can operate in ratio, single-beam, or interferogram mode.
