Detail Information

Each kit contains 0.2 mg labeling reagent plus Sm-standard, DELFIA Enhancement Solution, Sm-stabilizer, purified BSA for increasing the stability of labeled proteins, an uncoated microtitration strip plate, DELFIA Assay Buffer and DELFIA Wash Concentrate. The kit contents are sufficient for a labeling of up to 1 mg of protein or antibody.

N1 chelates can be used in DELFIA separation assays where the concentration of chelating agents is < 0.05 mmol/L, pH >7, and the temperature is < 38°C. They are suitable for highly sensitive end point measurements in separation based assays such those for detection of protein-protein binding and cell adhesion as well as for immunoassays. Isothiocyanate activated chelates react primarily with free lysines on the compound to be labeled.

Application Note

DELFIA® assays bring convenience in monoclonal anitbody development

The DELFIA® system provides a method of discovering specific, high-affinity monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) even in low concentrations in hybridoma supernatants. The assay used in these, conditions has to be very sensitive, specific, reliable, reproducible and easy enough to allow handling of about 1,000 to 1,500 samples in one batch.
