Detail Information

This biotin labeled analog of uridine triphosphate (UTP) is used for labeling RNA probes via in vitro transcription with various RNA polymerases. Biotin labeled RNA probes are used in a variety of molecular biology applications including in situ hybridization and gene expression microarrays. Biotin-labeled products may be detected with streptavidin conjugates. For the highest sensitivity in detection, we recommend using a streptavidin-HRP conjugate with tyramide signal amplification (TSA).


The number “11” in the compound name refers to the length of the linker arm between UTP and the label.
